As is now de rigeur for big festivals, Barcelona’s Primavera Sound is staggering its line-up announcements. The latest news is that Pitchfork are curating a stage, inviting The Bug , Vivian Girls, WAVVES, Ponytail, Bowerbirds, Crystal Stilts, The Mae Shi, The Tallest Man on Earth, Plants & Animals and Crystal Antlers to ply their trade. It’s not the most jaw-dropping selection, granted but you can bet your bottom Euro that Kevin Martin and Ponytail in particular will tear shit up.
Other acts already confirmed to appear at Primavera include My Bloody Valentine, Spiritualized, Gang Gang Dance, Michael Nyman, Alela Diane and Kitty, Daisy & Lewis. Visit the official site for more information and tickets.
