Ex-Talking Head David Byrne has been announced as the Sunday night headliner for this year’s Big Chill.
Byrne will close the festival, which takes place at Eastnor Castle Deer Park in Ledbury on the weekend of August 7th-9th, and is the third headliner to be announced, following Basement Jaxx (Friday) and Orbital (Saturday). He’ll be performing songs from Everything That Happens Will Happen Today, his 2008 collaboration with Brian Eno, along with ‘Heads classics and selections from his own expansive solo repertoire.
Other new additions to the line-up include Spiritualized, Lamb and Adrian Sherwood’s Dub Syndicate. Performances from Gong, Tom Middleton, Zombie Zombie, Optimo, Dan Black, Mr Scruff, Slam, Horsemeat Disco, To Rococo Rot and Mr Scruff have also been confirmed.
