Philly street-bass kingpin Starkey, whose instantly-recognisable smash-up of dubstep, grime, gutter-house and hip-hop has made him one of FACT’s favourite producers of the last couple of years, will release a new 25-track mix CD, Starkbass: A Continuous DJ Mix, tomorrow via Lo Dubs.
On top of his own productions, Starkbass features Cardopusher, Kotchy, Pacheko, DZ, Drop The Lime, Raffertie, Zomby, Bok Bok, Joker and more. Starkey’s currently in the form of his life (check his recent remix of Sarantis and Warrior Queen’s ‘More Than Money’, forthcoming on Senseless’ Vocals and Versions compilation – not to mention streamable on the FACT media player – and the forthcoming ‘Gutter Music’ EP on Keysound if you don’t believe us).
Oh, and there’s also a slew of accompanying vinyl releases promised. Yes there is.
