Neon Noise Project‘s next big-hitting party is a hook-up with perennially trendy French label KitsunĂ©, celebrating the latter’s new Maison compilation. It takes place on Saturday 20 June at The Scala in King’s Cross, London.
Topping the bill are Aeroplane, who’ll be playing a rare UK DJ set. The remixers du jour have become media darlings over the past year or so, thanks to their sunny, exuberant edits of tracks by artists like Grace Jones, Sebastien Tellier and, most memorably, Friendly Fires, their own production ‘Caramellas’ is a bona fide FACT anthem.
Performing live are various stars of the Maison series: Ewan Pearson-produced electronic rock newcomers Delphic, Tigs-fronted Casio-pop pretenders Chew Lips and British production outfit Autokratz, whose new album Animal is due out in June. We Have Band, who put together a very impressive FACT Mix for us back at the start of the year, are also on board; so too are invariably rollicking disco sleazeballs In Flagranti.
DJs on the night include Kitsuné stalwarts Beni and Gildas & Masaya, plus Streetlife and Young & Lost Club.
