Photos from FACT’s free party at The Lock Tavern in Camden, Sunday 7 March, in assocation with Red Bull Music Academy
Space Dimension Controller
RBMA participant Space Dimension Controller represented for the academy, playing a live set of house, disco, techno and more, rocking some serious sunglasses (unfortunately not captured) while working the crowd into an even more serious sweat.
FACT DJs
Carnival vibes followed, with FACT’s Tom Lea playing back to back with U Dun Know’s Unknown Soulja; Deamonds joining on mic and Night Slugs’ L-Vis 1990 popping in for a cameo on deck. You can download the audio here, full of unreleased dubs from Mosca, Bok Bok, R1 Ryders, Deep Teknologi and more.

Joy Orbison took the party into second gear with a typically discerning selection, pairing ethereal house with upfront business from Lone, James Blake and more. We don’t need to tell you that his own tunes got the biggest reaction.
Glasgow’s Rustie and London legend MJ Cole followed with a pair of live sets; Rustie’s a live edited session of squealing hip-hop that bled colour at every pore, MJ’s a blistering selection of house, garage and dubstep with reloads to the dozen. You can download the latter’s set below; don’t think for a second you’re getting Rustie’s.
