As if our forthcoming Sunday session at the Lock Tavern with Rustie, MJ Cole and Joy Orbison wasn’t enough, FACT will be part of a larger scale rave the next weekend.

On Friday, March 12 we’ll be taking over Room 2 at South London’s colossal Coronet as part of the launch party for Together – Season One.

Headlining FACT’s room is Kode9, the Hyperdub label boss who’s one of the world’s most in demand DJs. With fresh dubs from Ikonika, Darkstar, Zomby and the rest of the artists on his label, there’s a reason this guy has the reputation and level of international acclaim that he does, and we’re more than psyched to have him down.

If that’s not enough, you’ll be treated to some of the UK’s best new producers as support. R1 Ryders hail from West London, and have blown us away whenever we’ve seen them DJ. With squealing, hardbodied productions from the crew’s DJ Karnak (‘Hydraulic’ is one of London’s underground anthems of the year so far) and top boy MCing, we can’t emphasis how badly you need to see these guys. They’ll have just released their Full Throttle EP, and will be throwing it down accordingly.

Deep Teknologi is the duo of S.E.F. and T Williams, a pair of heads who work closely with Cooly G and MA1, and are two of the tightest DJs you’ll find. With a sound that’s steeped in house tradition but with an eye for mind-blowing modern takes on the genre and superlative productions of their own, you can expect big movements from Deep Tek this year.

Rounding off the line-up of Mosca, a man causing movements in the UK and beyond with his soundsystem epics ‘Square One’ and ‘Nike’. He’s just released the first 12” on the Night Slugs label, and Fabric have released his broken house beauty ‘Gold Bricks, I See You’. As a selector his connoisseur taste in dancehall, house, juke and more comes to the forefront: one guy literally – literally – broke his foot dancing to him at The Egg last week.

For those doubting the stature of this event, in Room 1 you’ve got dance institution Mylo, drum’n’bass’s Sub Focus, Zombie Nation, Crystal Fighters live, Doorly, and Durr’s Rory Phillips. Room 3 features O. Children, My Tiger My Timing, Lunar Youth and more. JUST ADDED: Tinie Tempah, who’s currently riding high in the charts with hit single ‘Pass Out’.

The Coronet’s soundsystem is superlative, so this isn’t one to miss. More information can be found here, and on the venue’s Facebook group. FACT readers can grab discounted early bird tickets here, so don’t delay.
