Primal pop from London’s “facepainted flag-bearers”, Trash Kit

By , Mar 15 2010

To celebrate the release of Trash Kit‘s eponymous debut album for Upset The Rhythm – which packs 17 tracks into 26 minutes – we’re offering up the London trio’s track ‘Fame’ as today’s Daily Download.

Since forming in 2009, the trio of Rachel Aggs, Rachel Horwood and Ros Murray, have caused a stir on the UK underground, with a sound that UTR describe as “both urbane and primal, drawing on the potential of punk and the naturalism of an internal folk music.” S’true. Download ‘Fame’ and see.
