You probably don’t need us to tell you at this point that Numbers, the Glasgow super-label formed from Wireblock, Dress 2 Sweat and Stuff Records, are good eggs.

Their recent Golden Handshake EP from Low Limit and Lando Kal (together known as Lazer Sword) kicked off the label in fine style this month, and things look set to get better with a lazer-etched, one-sided 12″ [pictured above] by Deadboy out this week.

This Friday, the label will take over Fabric’s Room 1, with sets from hometown regulars Rustie (playing live), Jackmaster, Goodhand and Nelson. The intimitable Martyn will be jetting in for a set, as will London’s none-more-Blunted Brackles, as well as new Numbers recruit Redinho, whose Bare Blips EP will be out soon on the label, and whose live sets are gathering a steady amount of acclaim.

Doors are open from 10pm-6am, entry is £14; £11 to students and Fabric First members. Tickets available here. Oh, and for £20 you can get entry to the club plus copies of the latest Fabric CDs, by Martyn and dBridge & Instra:mental. Details of that offer here.

Numbers have always had an impressive art direction, helmed by the folk at Remote Location. This week they launched a new website, which frankly, is gorgeous, and comes bundled with a recording of Untold from a recent Numbers night at the Sub Club. We’d recommend you check it out, especially because it gives you more of a chance to ogle that aforementioned Deadboy 12″, ‘If U Want Me’, which we’ve got three copies of to give away.

Simply shoot us an email on competitions@vinylfactory.co.uk and you’re in the draw.
