Kieran ‘Four Tet’ Hebden has remixed Bella Union band The Acorn, and the label are giving the track away as a free download.

Taken from The Acorn’s new album No Ghost, Hebden reworks ‘Restoration’, “offering something that is sparse and beautiful by eliminating pretty much all instrumentation and indulging in the simplicity of guitar and drum loops.”

This remix will appear on a limited 12” with the original and an Acorn track called ‘No Ghost’ via Bella Union on Monday May 31^st.

In other Four Tet news, he has a remix 12” of ‘Angel Echoes’, from recent album There Is Love In You, coming out on July 19 via Domino. Caribou and Jon Hopkins are the pair tackling the track, following recent Four Tet remixes by Mosca, Hard House Banton and Floating Points. Hebden will be playing tons of European shows this year; list follows.
