Mike ‘uZiq’ Paradinas has outlined his label, Planet Mu’s plans for 2011 in an interview with Beatportal.

When asked about records that Mu have penciled in for the year ahead, Paradinas revealed that as well as already announced long-players from Boxcutter and Chrissy Murderbot, they will be releasing albums by dream-pop up-and-comer Tropics, Kuedo (a.k.a. Jamie from Vex’d’s solo project), New York underground hero Machinedrum and one of FACT’s favourite footwork artists, DJ Diamond.

There’s also Mu albums due from Anti-G (“Dutch bubblin”) and Vezelay (“French electronica and singing”). Elsewhere in the interview, Paradinas talks about his deliberate decision not to travel to Chicago, birthplace of his beloved juke and footwork music, Venetian Snares’ new Cubist Reggae EP, and remastering and reissuing his own work.
