Scottish dance music veterans Neil Landstrumm [above, left] and JD Twitch [right] have teamed up for a new collaborative project.
Both Landstrumm and Twitch have been active since the early 1990s, Landstrumm making heavy techno for labels like Peacefrog, Tresor and Planet Mu, Twitch running legendary Glasgow clubnight Optimo. In 2010, they started collaborating, with Twitch traveling to Landstrumm’s Edinburgh studio once a week; the pair making tracks under the name Doubleheart.
The first Doubleheart single, ‘Salsa’ / ‘Ache’, will be released through Instra:mental’s NonPlus+ label on November 27.
