In Blawan’s ‘Getting Me Down’, one of 2011’s most-played dance tracks heavily borrowed vocals from US vocalist Brandy, and it now appears to have company.

‘Brandy and Coke’, a 2-step edit of Brandy’s ‘Best Friend’ by Radio 1xtra’s DJ Q (whose ‘Woooo Riddim’ remix charted high in FACT’s top 50 tracks of 2011), has been circling the internet for a while now, and according to Q’s Twitter, it’ll see a limited, vinyl-only release next year through Local Action [disclosure: a label run independently by FACT staff member Tom Lea]. You can stream it below.
