‘House of Dolls’ is the new single by Capracara, due out in early 2012 on Unknown To The Unknown.

The London-based producer, real name Jonathan Burnip, has been honing his low-slung house sound over the past five years on labels like DFA, Soul Jazz and Fine Art; as you would expect, his arrival on Unknown To The Unknown – operated by Hot City and home to splacking electro releases from the likes of Marcus Mixx and DJ Stingray – signals a turn into more ruffneck sonic territory.

This remix of ‘House Of Dolls’ is by another Jonathan, more specifically Jonny Trunk of Trunk Records fame. He steers Burnip’s original into whimsical, haunted house territory, full of errant bleeps, smoky jazz samples and percussive clatter. Download it via the Soundcloud player above.
