Watch an essential hour-long Clams Casino interview

Red Bull Music Academy have posted a video of an hour-long Clams Casino interview from last year’s RBMA in Madrid.

Conducted by Andrew ‘Noz’ Nosintsky, the man behind hip-hop blog Cocaine Blunts, The Wire‘s hip-hop reviews page and more, it’s as essential an interview with the New Jersey lo-fi hip-hop producer as you’re likely to find, starting with his early days sending beats to producers on MySpace, and running through topics such as working with Lil B, Soulja Boy and Havoc (Mobb Deep), his production techniques, what software he uses and releasing on avant-garde labels like Tri Angle and Type.

It was actually posted on RBMA’s website in November 2011, but we slept on it at the time (it happens). If you missed it at the time too, then you can stream it below.

Oh man! Is Noz wasted? Brutal interview. It’s actually laughable. It’s like he’s on the verge of punching CC in the throat and throw up on the gear…
