Blondes play free instore at Phonica Records tonight

In honour of their freshly minted debut LP, Brooklyn duo Blondes will be playing a live instore set at Phonica Records tonight.

Blondes’ self-titled album, released last week on RVNG INTL, synthesises elements of techno, house and coldwave into something at once dour and highly danceable. As part of a Europe-wide jaunt, the pair will be playing a free inshore show in Soho’s Phonica Records this February 14. The show begins at 6.30pm.

Blondes also play The Lanes in Bristol on February 15, and will be at Hackney’s The Shacklewell Arms on February 16. The latter date comes with support from synth-twiddlers Eaux and Rory Phillips. The duo also recently recorded a magnificent FACT mix, which featured a glut of unreleased material along with cuts from Levon Vincent and Sandwell District.
