UK house producer Hackman’s really starting to seem like a big deal: his ‘Close’ single from last year was a firm fixture on Radio 1’s playlist, and his forthcoming debut album looks set to cross over to a similar market to acts like The 2 Bears. You can also tell that the wider world’s taking more notice when the remix commissions flood in, and this peak-time dancefloor take on Swedish duo Icona Pop‘s new single is just the ticket. It’s a little bit Lion King, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
