This Is PiL, the band’s first LP in two decades, will see release on May 28.

Last week, we reported that PiL were readying a new EP for Record Store Day, with an LP to follow sometime thereafter. In an interview with NME, John Lydon revealed that the band’s upcoming full-length now has a release date. This Is PiL will be available to buy on May 28 via the band’s own label, PiL Official. Lydon also had a few spirited things to say about the band’s comeback single, ‘One Drop’:

“‘One Drop’ is a reflection of where I grew up in Finsbury Park, London. The area that shaped me, and influenced me culturally and musically, a place I will forever feel connected to. But within this I am also saying it doesn’t matter where you come from, we all go through the same emotions, especially the disenchanted youth of today, yesterday and the future”.

That four-track EP, also titled One Drop, is due on April 21 through PiL Official.
