The next single on Four Tet’s Text label is a new collaboration with Burial.

Titled ‘Nova’, it’s another example of Burial adventuring into 4/4 kick drum patterns, with trickles of harp and pitched-down vocals that remind us a lot of Balam Acab’s records for Tri Angle. You can stream it below; no word on release date yet but its catalogue number will be TEXT013 (lucky for some, clearly). It’ll be Burial’s second record of the year, after his lengthy Kindred EP for Hyperdub, and marks his third collaborative single with Four Tet.
