Best Coast will release their second album this May, through Mexican Summer in the US and Wichita in the UK.

Titled The Only Place, it’s the follow-up to 2010’s Crazy for You, and represents the group’s first full-length as a Massive Deal, with frontwoman Bethany Cosentino designing for Urban Outfitters and more. Those early 7″s seem so long ago.

Keen Beast Coast fans will recognise several songs from the album: as Pitchfork point out, ‘How They Want Me To Be’ was posted to the band’s blog last Summer, while ‘Up All Night’ has already been released on limited 7″ and ‘Dreaming my Life’ away was an online bonus track for 2009’s ‘Make You Mine’ single. Best Coast will tour the album both Stateside and in the UK; full details of that below.
