Ed Simons and Tom Rowlands are no strangers to the world of film scores: the pair provided the OST for Joe Wright’s zippy thriller Hanna in 2011.

According to The Playlist, they now have a new motion picture project on the go. The duo are set to craft the soundtrack for Now You See Me, an action movie starring Jesse Eisenberg, Morgan Freeman and rapper-turned-thesp Common.

The flick is allegedly about “an FBI squad caught up in a game of cat-and-mouse against a team of the world’s greatest illusionists, who pull off a series of daring bank heists during their performances and shower the profits onto their audiences”. If ever a script was designed for The Chemical Brothers’ sugar-rush productions, this is it.

Now You See Me won’t be the first time director Louis Leterrier has teamed up with a big-league music production team: his 2005 film Danny The Dog was soundtracked by none other than Massive Attack. Earlier this year, The Chemical Brothers put in a stint in front of the camera, appearing in psychotropic Chems concert movie Don’t Think.
