Sacramento’s current hot ticket have been a whirlwind of activity lately.

Amid the announcement that they’d signed to Epic and will be releasing two albums this year, there’s been a flurry of new tracks popping up all over the shop.

Their recent antics go one step further: ‘Retrograde’ is an “infinite sampler” made up of  109 looping .gifs that can be switched on and off at will, apparently inspired by the planet Mercury “being in retrograde right now”. It’s about as cacophonous as you’d expect – and no less so, really, than your average Death Grips record. You can check it out here. Make sure to turn your speakers down before you hit “play all” – you have been warned.

It’s probably for the best, given all that, that they’ll be out of the studio and getting some fresh air for the next few months. The band have just announced a 20-date tour in support of the upcoming Money Store, running from next week through to early June and taking in the US, Europe and the UK. You can check out the full tour dates – which include appearances at ATP and Primavera festivals – below. The Money Store is due for release on April 24, and No Love will be out in the Autumn.
