Joy Orbison and Boddika announce new single

The old hand and young pretender of hybrid-house are reuniting once again.

Boddika and Joy Orbison first shared production credits on the fabulous hoedown ‘Swims’. The pair subsequently clubbed together earlier this year to launch their SUNKLOWUN label, under whose aegis they dropped their juddering ‘Froth’/'Mercy’ 12″. Boddika also went on the record to stress how much darn fun the pair were having (” We’re working together three or four days a week at the moment and I think we plan on doing that for the foreseeable future.”)

Juno Plus now report that the chums now have a new 12″ due, again through the SUNKLOWUN imprint. ‘Dun Dun’ / ‘Prone’ is set to drop soon as a seriously limited one-off edition. You can stream snips of both tracks below. Aficionados might recognise ‘Dum Dum’ from Joy Orbison’s Hinge Finger Mix back in December.

As reported, Joy Orbison has yet another long-delayed single in the works. The chatty ‘Ellipsis’ is due on Hinge Finger on May 21.
