Kanye West’s short film Cruel Summer will premier at Cannes Film Festival next week.

Pitchfork report that the film, which is apparently “inspired by the G.O.O.D. Music [Kanye’s label] album Cruel Summer” will be shown at the French film festival on May 23. It will take the shape of an “immersive seven-screen experience” which is part film, part art installation. Oh, and it’s “unlike anything West has attempted before”, which considering how weird the whole Runaway film was, might end up being a good thing.

Below, see a picture of the seven-screened experience that Kanye Tweeted back in January.
