Hip-hop savant Madlib continues to dart from double act to double act.

Madlib’s has clocked up more co-signs than most: MF DOOM, Talib Kweli, Georgia Anne Muldrow and Guilty Simpson have all gone tête-à-tête with the L.A. producer. The latest on that list is Midwest tongue-twister Freddie Gibbs, with the pair readying a new collaborative release for Stones Throw.

According to HipHopDX, the eight-track Shame will drop in June. The EP follows on from last year’s splendid Thuggin‘ EP, which saw ‘Lib on more spectral form than usual. The disc will feature new tracks ‘Shame’ and ‘Terrorist’, plus a stash of bonus instrumentals and a cappella versions. Shame will arrive as a 12″ and a digital download. Clips are available to stream over at the Stones Throw online store: cuts range from the vaguely eerie title track to the lilting ‘Terrorist’.

The Shame EP is due on July 10.  According to the Stones Throw website, a full-length is due in “Fall 2012”.

Tracklisting:
1. Shame (ft. BJ The Chicago Kid)

3. Later That Night (Bonus Beat)
4. Shame (A Cappella)
5. Terrorist
6. Terrorist (Instrumental)
