Remember when Motorhead launched their own brand of wine, Motörhead Shiraz, back in 2011? It looks like the boys are expanding.

The hard rock combo have commissioned Swedish brewery Krönleins to rustle up the bespoke brew. According to NME, the lager will go under the supermarket-friendly title of ‘Bastards Lager’, a tip of the hat to the band’s 1993 Bastards LP. The beverages can be ordered from Systembolaget, the Swedish state liquor shop, here.

By way of promotion, Motörhead drummer Mikkey Dee said: “You’re never too old for rock’n’roll and good chilled beer. That always works well together!”. NME point out that both Slayer and AC/DC have also produced their own wines. It’s a mite less classy, but we’d add Snoop’s energy drink into the mix as well.

Motörhead are embarking on a tour of the UK with Anthrax in November. Drink responsibly, folks.
