Only half of these remixes are actually 'Garage'. Just because a song is remixed by underground legends synonymous with the genre, such as Zed Bias or Wookie doesn't mean everything they do is....this is a poorly researched article.

Try looking up Usher - Scream (Exemen Remix) if you want some pop remixed into Garage by Wookie and as for Zed Bias, all his Garage remixes have been for underground tracks, such as Heavyfeet - Blew That and the remix of his own Soul II Soul cover Fairplay featuring Jenna G.

As for the Seamus Haji remix being Garage.....are you deaf?

Hit and miss, mainly miss. I've heard much better underground garage/2-step/funky/grime white labels that would be worth talking about, for instance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pf0-5yEt_rM

Not gonna slate the taste but there's no consistency with these comparisons! Some of them are just commissioned 'garage/urban' edits of chart tunes that the producers did for a quick buck and I'm sure they'd admit that...

this article couldnt be more pretentious. idk if the "pinacle of human achievement" thing is a joke, but this isn't anything new at all. its good, and much better than the pop you were talking shit about, but copying old garage styles is no more innovative than copying old house styles.

The majority of these tunes are not even Garage, the Funkystepz ones are horrendous and are just as manufactured and generic as the originals. I admire Preditah's work but his attempt bordered on pointless, as did Wookie's remix of Sparks. Sunship stands out here yet there's two sentences. Alex Macpherson yet again trying his absolute hardest to be trendy grime groupie.
