Ontario-based MC Tre Mission has let out a vocal version of Jamie xx’s ‘Far Nearer’.

We’re not going to lie: ‘Far Nearer’, Jamie xx’s first official solo single released last year, feels a little like a Summer fling right now. It was great at the time, and undoubtedly still stands up from an objective perspective, but after it turning up on every night out for three months, we don’t have much desire to hear it again. We’re also not convinced that Tre – who’s definitely on the up, opening for Wu Tang’s Raekwon and Ghostface this weekend gone, as Exclaim point out – really adds much, but you know. It’s of interest.
