If you’ve ever travelled on the Gatwick Express, the train that connects London Victoria to Gatwick International Airport, chances are you’ve thought to yourself: “I could murder a 30-minute track by Benga custom-built to soundtrack my journey!”

The dream is now a reality. Presumably in a bid to distract people visiting London for the Olympics from what is, at the best of times, a needlessly expensive and highly depressing journey, Gatwick Express have commissioned the dubstep producer and Magnetic Man member to create a piece of music which lasts as long as the route – 30 minutes – and which features elements that correspond to various ‘sights’ on the journey (well, Battersea Power Station, anyway).

Benga is one of three artists to have created a Gatwick Express track, the others being Sheppard and The Milk (nah, us neither). You can download them here, but of course you’ll have to book your train ticket first. Only £27.90 return, folks!

Find out more about the project and hear some audio in the video clips below.
