The Vinyl Factory will be releasing a new limited edition of Turner Prize-winning artist Martin Creed’s album Love to You.

A “collection of 18 love and hate songs”, with a total running time of less than 40 minutes and titles such as ‘Fuck Off’, ‘Die’ and ‘What’s the Point of It?’, this new edition is limited to 150, with each cover individually hand-painted, numbered and hand signed by Creed. It’s been pressed on 180-gram heavyweight vinyl, with a super glossy outer sleeve (plus, naturally, paint), a  full colour inner sleeve and glossy oversized poster.

Creed won the Turner Prize in 2001 for the infamous Work No. 227: the lights going on and off, which was effectively an empty room in which – you guessed it – the lights went on and off. This isn’t Creed’s first venture into music: his past band Owada released an album, Nothing, in 1997, and sound – in the form of metronomes, doorbells and more – has frequently featured in his artwork. In 2000, he published a recordings of songs written by him – this, however, marks his first full album as Martin Creed with his current band.
