Joanna Newsom debuted a new track at her performance with composer Philip Glass this Monday gone.

Titled ‘The Diver’s Wife’, it’s reminiscent of some material from Julia Holter’s Ekstasis, in that despite being eight minutes long, it floats by in no time at all. Which isn’t to say it washes over you; it’s closer to engulfing you with its quiet devotion. Stream it over at New Wave Women.
