Last Friday, FACT TV were picked up by Trim and taken to his East London studio, where we discussed lyricism, education, his own forthcoming Watch the Throne-style project with Roachee, and James Blake – who heavily sampled Trim on his forthcoming Harmonimix single (though is not, despite Trim’s comment in the interview, working with Lil Wayne). Trim’s debut album, following a steady stream of mixtapes (Soul Food Vol. 1 & 2 particular classics) will be released later this year; he’ll also be playing at Cable this weekend.
