At the Drive-in to play one-off UK headline show

Update: The show will take place at London’s Brixton Academy. Tickets go on general sale this Friday, July 13.

Cult punks At the Drive-in will play a one-off UK headline show next month.

The Texan group broke up in 2001, after their landmark last album Relationship of Command, but reformed earlier this year to play several live shows in the United States. Now, they’re coming to the UK’s shores: if you head to ATDImusic.com, you’ll be offered the chance to buy tickets for the show before they go on general sale, with the offer lasting until midnight on July 5. Given that the location and date of the show are yet to be revealed, it’s a risky move, but then so’s waiting for the inevitable rush when they hit general sale.

It follows news that the band’s second album, In/Casino/Out has been reissued on vinyl. More on that here.
