Canadian techno infiltrator Kevin McPhee has remixed ‘Iron and Water’, by Gingy & Bordello.

Like much of McPhee’s admittedly varied catalogue, he strips things down here into stunted, nocturnal minimalism. Although the structure’s simple, unlike a lot of minimal music there’s little space to breathe – instead, elements knock into each other giving it a suffocating feel. Turbo will release the remix package – which also features Locked Groove and more – on July 23.
