Earlier this month, we described ‘/SYS’ as “a lilo made of microchips on a digital lagoon;” now that vision has come to life.

Directed by Theodore Darst, the video for ‘/SYS’ is a seapunk voyage through distorted VHS footage, 3D-rendered pot leaves, and cascades of liquid metal. It’s reminiscent of the post-Internet collages of digital artifacts seen in videos by contemporaries Nguzunguzu, Fatima al-Qadiri, and Jam City.

The-Drum will release Sense Net via Mishka on July 17.
