’3 Kings’ assembles three of the biggest names in hip-hop – but for what?

The highly-anticipated cut off God Forgives, I Don’t is an exercise in rap excess. Over a yearning, soul-sampling beat by Jake One, Rick Ross, Dr. Dre, and Jay-Z all sound slightly bored, as they should: there’s no hunger at the top of the food chain. Ross and Dre trade brand-aware barbs (“you should listen to this beat through my headphones” versus “listen to this track in my Maybach” ) while Jay doles out domestic comfort: “fuck show money, I spent that on drapes.” Stream the track below; God Forgives, I Don’t is due out July 31.
