Jon Brion, the producer of albums by Kanye West, Fiona Apple, and Best Coast, has composed the score for the animated kids film ParaNorman.

Previously, Brion composed scores for films such as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Magnolia, and Punch-Drunk Love. ParaNorman will hit theaters on August 17, and his score will be released on August 14 by Relativity Music Group. According to Pitchfork, Brion used material from previous scores as temp tracks to build the ParaNorman music. His theme for Eternal Sunshine is below.
