Watch professionally-shot footage of the Stone Roses at Benicassim

As you doubtless know, seminal Brit group The Stone Roses reformed last year.

The news was announced in a press conference in October, with the band revealing that not only would they tour, but planned to record a third album – over fifteen years on from 1994’s Second Coming. They’ve since signed record deals with Universal and Columbia, which would indicate that new music’s not too far away.

With gigs already taking place in Manchester, Scotland and more, there’s already – as you’d expect – a slew of fan-shot live videos on the Internet. The NME today, however, point to professionally shot footage of the group’s opener from their July 14 set at Spanish festival Benicassim, performing ‘I Wanna Be Adored’ (bonus: you also get some amateur Spanish from Ian Brown). No word on whether more of these videos will be uploaded, but there is plans for a Shane Meadows-directed documentary on the reunion, which should be great – and probably not a million miles away from This is England, either.
