This year’s edition of London festival Meltdown, curated by Antony and the Johnsons’ Antony Hegarty, has just announced a new act in Boy George.

A former collaborator with Antony (the pair dueted on ‘You Are My Sister’, from the Mercury Prize winning album I Am A Bird Now), Boy George is cited as the figure who inspired Antony to persue singing as a career. After the interview, Boy George will perform an acoustic set of new and classic material.

The festival will also feature Williams Basinski performing his ambient classic The Disintegration Loops, Kim Cattrall debating Cleopatra, and live sets from Anotny and the Johnsons, CocoRosie, Diamanda Galas and more.
