Danny Wolfers is one of those musicians who poses a genuine threat to us journalists.

The fact is, as anybody who enjoyed the “autistic Star Trek 1987- Misty Forests- X-FILES,- DETROIT unicorn futurism” of last year’s TEAC Life (we did) will be aware, Legowelt describes his own music more effectively than we ever could. And as the hallowed profession of music journalism contracts into a wrinkled husk of its former self, the last thing we need is somebody showing up just how obsolete we really are.

Fortunately, we can salve our inferiority complexes with this new track from the man. ‘Comanchee’s Revenge’ is a propulsive, hypnotic affair, with only the occasional digi-panpipe flourish seeming to make reference the thematics of its title. You can download the track from Wolfers’ website by clicking the link below – as he says, “just keep watching the thunderbird and flow into a higher dimension”.
