Secretsundaze have announced that their forthcoming mini-festival, Go Bang!, will no longer take place at London’s Pleasure Gardens.

The festival, which takes place on August 26 and boasts the likes of Four Tet, Levon Vincent, MCDE and Ben UFO on its line-up, will now take place at a different location which has yet to be announced.

In a statement, the organisers said that “For secretsundaze Go Bang! we need to be absolutely sure that our fans get the event they deserve. After much consideration, we have decided that an alternative venue is the best choice.” One can only assume that the decision has been influenced by the unfortunate fate of last month’s Bloc festival (if you’ve been living under a rock, you can read about that here), and the move doesn’t bode well for the rest of London Pleasure Gardens’ scheduled events.

Tickets already bought for the festival will still be valid at the new venue, and more tickets are still on sale – you can find them here.

In other news, the promoters have announced that their summer closing party will take place on September 30 at the Oval Space. Gracing the decks will be Martyn, Two Armadillos and John Heckle, as well as sundaze founders and residents Giles Smith and James Priestley. Early bird tickets are available here.
