The release of Rhythms Del Mundo: Africa could be put in jeopardy if it doesn’t reach its pledge target by September 3.

The album, the latest in the Rhythms Del Mundo series run by the Artist Project Earth initiative, has just 30 days left to reach is target; at the time of writing, the campaign has only received 33% of its required funds, with fewer than 100 individual pledges made.

Its aim is to raise money for global causes, with all proceeds from the album going towards funding Artist Project Earth in future initiatives tackling climate change and raising funds for natural disaster relief. The album features high profile Western and African musicians collaborating on African mixes of Western music, with tracks by Beyoncé, Plan B, Eminem, and others featuring; full tracklist below.

It goes without saying that, if the campaign doesn’t reach its target, the album may not get released – you can pledge here. Larger pledges yield greater rewards – including signed copies of Plan B and Aloe Blacc records,  African drumming workshops and more – so don’t be stingy now. Further info can be found on the project’s website.
