Full line-up for Channel 4's all-night House Party revealed

The full line-up for Channel 4’s House Party is now here.

A six-hour “rave in your front room”, House Party will be broadcast from midnight to 6am on August 24, and features a selection of DJs, a custom-made “ultimate DJ booth” and viewers’ ability to Tweet requests from the comfort of their homes. Refreshingly, there will also be no advertising and no recording of the event, so if you want to experience it, you actually have to be there – which seems oddly quaint in an era of Boiler Room and Ustream.

Already confirmed for the party were Erick Morillo, Grandmaster Flash, Annie Mac [above] and Horsemeat Disco. FACT can now confirm that chart-topping British group Soul II Soul, Radio 1xtra hip-hop DJ Charlie Sloth and A-Trak complete the line-up, with several “surprise guest appearances” in the pipeline for the night. As previously announced, the show will be preceded by a documentary on dance music and rave culture, which features contributions from Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong, Home Secretary Michael Howard and Will.i.am.
