Amsterdam is home to some of dance music’s most esteemed institutions, including the legendary Rush Hour imprint and Trouw club.

Marcel Vogel and Frankie Caputo have put together a mini-documentary exploring the city’s underground scene, in an attempt to get to the bottom of why its club culture is so rich and enduring [via Juno Plus].

The documentary features a range of local operators including Trouw co-founder Olaf Boswijk, Rush Hour’s Antal Heitlager and Young Marco and Dr San Proper, as well as representatives from Red Light Radio and the Wicked Jazz Sounds collective. You can watch it below.
