Richie Hawtin: one of techno’s biggest and most opinion-dividing names.

This week gone, BBC Radio 1 broadcast a three-hour long interview with Hawtin, condensed into an hour show, that starts with his birth in England before following him to Canada, America and Germany on his journey to become one of dance music’s most iconic figures. Contributions come from Visionquest’s Seth Troxler and Ryan Crosson, Richie’s family, Detroit icons Juan Atkins, Carl Craig and Jeff Mills, plus Radio 1′s Heidi, who presented the show and conducted the interview.
