The TV on the Radio super producer honors the newly minted Snoop Lion with ‘Shoop Lion.’
Sitek pumps up the reggae vibes on a reworking of Salt-n-Pepa’s classic rap jam ‘Shoop.’ It’s the same island feel that he relied on for his remix of Usher’s ‘Climax.’
While it isn’t stated, the title must be a reference to the rapper-formerly-known-as Snoop Dog’s new, ganja-and-patois persona, Snoop Lion (right?). Download the track below via Sitek’s Federal Prism record label.
