Users on the Drowned in Sound website’s message board have been polled on their all-time favourite albums, leading to an overall top 101.

As ever, where there’s consensus there’s predictability, and the top three will certainly elicit a few groans. Further down the list there’s some interesting picks – Why?’s Alopecia and 65daysofstatic’s The Fall of Math both rank high – though there’s a distinct lack of “electronic” albums, Flying Lotus’s Los Angeles and Aphex Twin’s Selected Ambient Works 85-92 two of the only ones we spotted. As a result of this, a separate Electronic Albums poll has been started.
