As many of you will no doubt know, Manchester legends Happy Mondays re-formed with their original line-up earlier this year.
After a string of triumphant homecoming gigs and festival dates – and following the news that the band are working on new material for the first time since 1992 – the band have now announced two dates at London’s Roundhouse this December.
The performances, taking place on December 19 and 20, will feature support from Mancunian house legends 808 State - an inspired booking which will no doubt emphasise the huge influence of Manchester’s then-burgeoning club culture on the Mondays’ sound.
Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10am tomorrow, and will be available here.
