A flurry of recent activity from Warm signees Face + Heel seems to suggest that a new release is on the horizon.

Last week we drew your attention to two new tracks from the Cardiff/London-based duo,  showcasing their characteristic blend of garage-inflected percussion and rich, downcast synthscapes.

Below you can stream an edit of the duo’s track ‘Wounded Melody’. It’s a similarly lush, nocturnal affair, its stilted 2-step beat interspersed with fragments of forlorn vocal and the sounds of children playing.

While we wait for more concrete news of a release, the duo have a remix of Hemlock signees Breton in the pipeline, and will be supporting Warp legends Plaid in Brighton in November – details on that here.
