One of our most anticipated albums of 2012, Negative Fascination will be released September 10.

After Sandwell Distrist’s demise at the beginning of this year, we’ve eagerly followed the projects from the techno collective. Dave ‘Function’ Sumner will release an LP on Frozen Border and Regis has stayed busy with remixes and reformed British Murder Boys with Surgeon.

That leaves Juan ‘Silent Servant Mendez, who (apart from collaborating with Tropic of Cancer) will release his debut album on Dominick Fernow’s Hospital Productions. Executive produced by Regis, the vinyl will be limited to 1,000 copies. The tracklist is below.

Press materials promise that “Mendez blends his previously stated interpretations of early post-punk, filtered through the monolithic works of Basic Channel with his own progressively nihilistic vision of Industrial music.” Sounds like Silent Servant to us.

A1. Process (Introduction)
A2. Invocation Of Lust
A3. Moral Divide (Endless)
A4. The Strange Attractor
B1. Temptation & Desire
B2. A Path Eternal
B3. Utopian Disaster (End)
