Baroness cancels future shows as members return home

Another update from the metal band after their tour bus crash.

In a post to Facebook, Baroness updates fans on the band’s status. Frontman John Baizley has been released from hospital, and drummer Allen Blickle and bassist Matt Maggioni have arrived back in the United States. All remaining 2012 tour dates (below) are canceled. Lead guitarist Pete Adams was already treated and released.

Earlier this month, Baroness’ tour bus crashed off a viaduct and fell 30 feet near Bath. Nine people were injured in the crash; as of the last report, the bus driver remains in critical condition.
